Whirlpool Baths Jargon Buster
Airpool Bath: Used to describe a hydrotherapy system wherein jets at the base of the tub pump heated air currents through the bath water.Airpool jets tend to be gentler than whirlpool jets, producing a bubbling effect inside the whole bath, and making airpool systems the ideal choice for general relaxation and well being.
Airpool Jets: The low-velocity air streams that enter an airpool bath through the interior base inlets.
Colour Kinetic Light: An underwater light that cycles through the colours of the spectrum. Colour Kinetic Lights are used in chromatherapy treatments, the understanding that different colours have individual health benefits.
Dry Run Pump Protection: The name given to a specially fitted whirlpool bath component that prevents the pump from being activated with too little or no water present inside the tub, which can otherwise lead to the pump being damaged.
